Worked for Ministry of Health and Wellness for the past 10 years as General Paediatrician. Stayed in Rodrigues as sole Paediatrician from 2019-2021.

Set up educational programmes to prevent teenage pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, prevention of child abuse, battered child and neglect.

Initiated blind children from complications of diabetes mellitus to braille system.

Worked with Global Rainbow Foundation to help babies born from congenital clubfoot to get operated in Mauritius.

Animated multiple radio shows on health of babies, breast feeding, obesity, prematurity, vaccines, parasitic worm infections.
