One life, One tree

Tackling Climate Change through Tree Planting

In a bid to mitigate the negative effects that stem from the mentioned, C-Care Uganda in collaboration with Tree Adoption Uganda has embarked on an initiative of planting a tree for every baby born at C-Care IHK and C-Care IMC. This will see at least 1800 trees planted per year with a lifespan of not less than 30 years. The child in whose name the tree is planted will be given a Tree Planting Certificate and through current technology the parents can track the growth of the tree via GPS coordinates assigned to each tree.

We believe that this intervention will not only help conserve the environment but will act as an avenue of ensuring food security and be a source of income for the immediate communities, as some of the trees planted will be fruit trees.

Join C-Care Uganda in making a positive difference to the environment, one tree at a time!
