1991 – 1994: MS (Master of Surgery) Specialization Post Graduate Training in General Surgery Mysore (Government) Medical College, Mysore, Mysore University (Now Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore), India.

Visiting Consultant Surgeon C-Care Darné for nearly 15 years.

Visiting Consultant Surgeon at Clinique Bon Pasteur for nearly 25 years.

2019 – 2022: Head of the Dept. Of Surgical Unit (Consultant-in-Charge) at Victoria Hospital, Candos, & Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital, Rose Belle, Mauritius.

2005 – 2019: Worked as Consultant Surgeon, Senior Specialist/ Specialist at all five Regional Hospitals of Mauritius, attached to the Ministry of Health.
As a consultant General Surgeon, I was in charge of one surgical unit.
Carrying out all major elective and emergency surgeries. Teaching the students, interns and the Resident Medical officers (SHOs) posted in the surgical unit.

Participated in the Annual Conference of Association of Surgeons of India, Karnataka State Chapter at Mysore. Presented clinical cases at local level to the Surgical Society of Mysore, India.

Regular participation in the C.M.ES (Continuous Medical Education) and surgical updates and Journal clubs. Routine participation in the surgical seminars in Mauritius.
